Recently, the award results of the “My Campus Story” thematic essay writing activity sponsored by China Daily and organized by the China Foreign Affairs Information Service Platform “Study in China Platform” and China Daily Client were announced. NEFU is the only university in Heilongjiang province to receive this award.

The activity was launched in April of this year, and international students were invited to tell their experiences and feelings about studying in China. 1078 written entries and 396 video entries were received, with contributors from 115 countries and regions.

Our university actively organized the international students and alumni to tell the process of experiencing, understanding and integrating into China from their personal perspectives, and to show the credible, lovely and respectable image of China. After the announcement of the call, the international students and graduated alumni responded and participated enthusiastically, taking up pen, paper and cameras to describe their happy lives in China and NEFU.

Over the past few years, our university has attached great importance to the work of international students’ studying in China, integrating telling Chinese stories and spreading Chinese voices into the education and training of the international students, which help the international students understand China, continuously promote humanistic exchanges between young people in China and the world, and advance mutual learning and appreciation of civilizations. Fruitful results have been yielded.
