In the afternoon of December 21, the 5thMy Beautiful Encounter with ChinaEssay and Short Video Competition Award Ceremony was held online. AL HARAZI, YASER KHALED ABDULLAH (Arthur), a Yemeni student of the NEFU, won the Excellent Award for his workTeaching in China, and Studying in China, and SURYA BAGUS MAHARDIKA (Surya), an Indonesian student, won the Characteristic Award for her workThe Same Spirit, The Same Goal.The NEFU won the Outstanding Organization Award.

Sponsored by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education and undertaken by the Service Center for Studying Abroad of the Ministry of Education, the competition aims to promote cultural exchanges among the young generations of different countries, show the demeanor of international students from various countries, and explore the touching Chinese stories of the international students. The competition has received more than 600 essays from over 100 universities and individuals.
