为了进一步提高留学生汉语水平，保证留学生培养质量，在加强留学生日常汉语教学的基础上，现对留学生进专业学习汉语水平做如下要求。
The requirements of Chinese proficiency for international students’ studying in academic schools are formulated on the basis of strengthening Chinese teaching to improve the Chinese Proficiency of international students and guarantee the quality of cultivating talents.
第一条录取通知书上标明授课语言为英语的留学生，可直接进专业进行全英文培养，无需提供汉语水平证明。
Article1: International students whose admission letters indicate that the teaching language is English don’t need to provide Chinese Proficiency Certificate and can study the major courses directly.
第二条已经在其他高校完成汉语补习或自学汉语，且理科汉语水平达到HSK四级180分及以上，或文科汉语水平达到HSK五级180分及以上的留学生，可直接进专业学习。
Article 2: International students who have learned Chinese and those majoring in science should pass HSK Test Level 4 or those majoring in arts should pass HSK Test Level 5 before studying their major courses.
第三条未达到进专业学习汉语水平要求的留学生必须在国际交流学院（留学生工作办公室）进行为期一年的汉语补习。汉语补习期间，留学生在第一学期须通过HSK三级考试，第二学期结束前通过专业学习要求的HSK四级或五级考试。
Article 3: International students who are unqualified for studying in academic schools must spend the 1st academic year in learning Chinese in SIEE/ International Student Affairs Office. Before the end of first semester, international students must pass the HSK Test Level 3, and pass the HSK Test Level 4 or Level 5 before the end of the second semester.
第四条汉语补习结束后，汉语水平达到专业学习要求的留学生可直接进入专业学习，其汉语成绩及相应HSK等级考试成绩可以替代第一外国语考试成绩（具体由国际交流学院（留学生工作办公室）核算），并获得相应学分。
Article 4: After learning Chinese in the first academic year, the international students who are qualified can study in academic schools, and the grades of Chinese courses and HSK Test can replace that of the first foreign language test (School of International Education and Exchanges/ International Student Affair’s Office will calculate the grade of the course).
第五条对汉语水平未达到专业学习要求，但通过HSK三级考试的留学生，允许其以试读身份进入专业学习，但必须利用课余时间进行汉语强化学习，并在专业学习一年内通过专业学习要求的HSK等级考试。通过考试后，方可兑换相应的成绩和学分。
Article 5: International students who have failed the HSK Test Level 4 or Level 5 before the end of the second semester, but have passed the HSK Test Level 3, shall be allowed to study in the academic schools on probation. However, those international students must improve their Chinese in spare time and pass the HSK Test Level 4 or Level 5 before the end of the forth semester. After passing the HSK Test Level 4 or Level 5, the corresponding credits for the first foreign language courses could be transferred.
第六条对汉语水平未达到专业学习要求，也未通过HSK三级考试的留学生，将不能进入专业学习，须在国际交流学院（留学生工作办公室）继续进行汉语补习，为期一年，汉语补习期间各项费用自理。汉语补习结束后仍未达到专业学习要求的，学校将予以退学处理。
Article 6: International students who are unqualified and have failed to pass the HSK Test Level 3 before the end of the second semester can’t study in academic schools. Those students must spend another year learning Chinese at SIEE/ International Student Affairs Office and they are responsible for all the expenses. After this year, those who haven’t passed the corresponding HSK tests will be expelled.
第七条本办法由国际交流学院（留学生工作办公室）负责解释，自2017年9月1日起施行。
Article 7: School of International Education and Exchanges/ International Student Affairs Office has the final right to interpret the articles and items listed above and the requirements shall be implemented since September 1st2017.
