Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health;

Excellent performance in study;

The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship.

Scholarship Standard

The scholarship is open to international self-financed students who apply to study in Chinese-medium of Bachelor and Master Program. The scholarship period is one year and the award standard is as follow:

First-class: exempt from tuition fee, housing fee;
Second-class: exempt from tuition fee;
Third-class: 50% deduction of tuition fee;
Forth-class: 30% deduction of tuition fee.

Note: Applicants must have passed HSK 4.

Students can continue to apply for the scholarship of the next year according to their performance in the previous academic year after the expiration of the scholarship.

Application Documents (in duplicate)

1. Application Form for Northeast Forestry University Scholarship

2. Notarized highest diploma;

3. Academic transcripts; (notarized Chinese or English translations)

4. Study Plan or Research Proposal (no less than 800 words in English or Chinese);

5. Two Recommendation Letters;

Note: Applicants for the graduate programs or the senior scholar programs must submit two recommendation letters signed by a professor or an associate professor.

6. Copy of valid passport

7. Foreigner Physical Examination Form

Note: The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.

8. The copy of valid HSK Certificate (if available).
