Notice for International Non-degree Students to Attend Online Chinese Courses
为了响应国家教育部、省教育厅“停课不停学”的号召，国际交流学院将为全体进修生（学生名单见附件1）开展线上汉语课程，具体通知如下：
In order to give active response to the Ministry of Education and the Heilongjiang Provincial Education Department’s call that work can be stopped but studies should continue, School of International Education and Exchanges will open online Chinese courses for all the 2019 non-degree students (the name list is attached). The notice is as follows.
一、 时间安排Schedule
线上汉语课程将于2020年2月29日陆续展开，2月29日-3月1日为试运行阶段，3月2日后正式开始上课，课程结束时间另行通知。
The online Chinese courses will successively start from February 29th, 2020 and February 29th and March 1st will be the experimental stage. The course will officially start from March 2nd and the ending time of the online courses will be announced later.
在试运行阶段，学生可登录系统试听课程并熟悉各项流程。如果遇到相关问题，学生需及时联系授课教师。试运行学习阶段不设考勤环节，不计入课程总学时数。未及时参加试听的学生因操作不当造成的缺勤，教师将如实记载。
In the experimental stage, students can log in to the system to listen to the courses and know the procedure anytime. If any question is found, please contact your course teacher. Your attendance and class hours won’t be recorded in the experimental stage. If you didn’t log in to the system in the experimental stage to check, your absence due to misoperation will be recorded after the course officially starts.
二、授课平台Online Course Platform
学生需登陆“唐风汉语云平台”网页版（操作指南见附件2-3）或使用手机“Tang课堂”客户端参加线上课程并完成作业。学生们可通过班级微信群，唐风汉语云平台短消息等功能与授课教师进行互动。
All the non-degree students should log in to the “Tangfeng Chinese Education Cloud Platform(the website version)” (The instructions are attached.) or download the “Tang Classroom (the mobile phone version)” APP to attend the online courses and finish their homework. Students can use WeChat group and “Message” function on the Tangfeng Chinese Education Cloud Platform to conduct interaction with their teachers.
在华进修生需按照课程表（课程表见附件4）登陆系统并进行学习，每节课程总时长为45分钟（1学时），课程分为“自主学习（观看录播课程）”和“师生互动”两部分。完成两部分教学任务的进修生视为出席，未完成教学任务的进修生将按照迟到、早退或旷课记载出勤情况。
The non-degree students in China should log in to the system to conduct their studies according to the timetable (The timetables are attached). The total time for each online class is 45mins. Each online class includes 2 parts, one is self-study (students watch the teaching videos) and the other is the interaction between teachers and students (students can ask questions). Those who complete all the studying parts will be recorded as “attended”, but those who fail to complete will be recorded as “being late” or “leaving earlier” or “being absent”.
回国进修生可自行安排时间，登录线上授课平台，参与课程学习，并按时完成作业。按时提交作业的进修生视为出席，未按时提交作业的进修生按旷课处理。
The non-degree students abroad or in their own country can log in to the system, attend the class and finish the homework according to their own schedule. Those who submit their homework in time will be recorded as “attended”, however, those who fail to submit their homework in time will be recorded as “being absent”.
对于存在特殊情况不能参加课程学习的进修生，需要按照《东北林业大学留学生请销假管理办法》进行线上请假，并提前告知授课教师，否则将视为旷课。
Those non-degree students who can’t attend the online classes due to the particular reasons should ask for a leave online according to Administrative Provisions on Asking for Leave and Canceling Leave for International Students at Northeast Forestry University and inform the course teacher in advance. Otherwise, they will be recorded as “being absent”.
对旷课和无故不参加线上汉语课程的进修生，国际交流学院将按照《东北林业大学留学生纪律处分条例（试行）》给予相应处分。
For those non-degree students who are absent from the online courses without permission, the corresponding punishment will be given in accordance with Provisions for International Student Disciplinary Measures at Northeast Forestry University (for Trial Implementation).

For other affairs, please pay attention to the notices sent on SIEE website or WeChat Account. If you have any questions, please contact the SIEE staff or your course teachers as soon as possible.
根据《东北林业大学留学生进专业学习汉语水平要求》，所有进修生需要在进专业前通过相应的汉语水平考试。时间紧，任务重，希望同学们按时参加国际交流学院组织的线上汉语课程，在日后的汉语水平考试中取得理想的成绩。
According to Requirements of Chinese Proficiency for International Students’ Studying in Academic Schools at Northeast Forestry University, all the non-degree students should pass the corresponding HSK exam before the start of their major studies. With limited time and heavy tasks, we hope that all the non-degree students can attend the online Chinese courses in time and achieve good HSK exam results in the future.
