一、非学历生课程设置
汉语课程包括平时练习、期中考试、期末考试，考试成绩实行百分制。平时成绩占总评成绩的30%，期中成绩占20%,期末成绩占50%。国际课程和特色课程不设有期中考试，平时成绩和作业占总评成绩的30%，期末成绩占70%。留学生单门课程无故旷课8学时以上或者不按照学院要求参加考试（考核）者，成绩将被记为0分。一个学期内缺课超过40学时以上者，不发结业证书。学习期间连续请假或者缺课六周以上者，作休学和退学处理。
二、留学生学习要求
1.留学生应自觉遵守学习纪律，按时上课，不得迟到、早退和旷课。
2.留学生因病、因事请假，应履行请假手续。请假两天以内的，需提前向任课教师及留学生教务办公室说明情况；
3.请假两天及以上的，除了向任课教师说明情况外，还必须到留学生综合办公室领取请假单（一式三份）履行相应的请假手续；
4.因病请假需医生证明，病情严重者可申请回国休养。
5.因事请假不得超过5天。凡未履行有效请假手续而缺课或请假期满未归者，均按旷课（1天按旷课4学时）处理；而本科生和研究生因病请假，除需要向国际交流学院留学生综合办公室说明情况、填写请假单外，必须到所在学院、教务处或研究生院相关负责老师处请假。
6.学历生必须严格遵守《东北林业大学本科生管理规定（试行）》或《东北林业大学研究生学籍管理办法》，按照教务处、教学学院或研究生院的管理办法严格要求自己。
三、考核违纪处理
考生必须遵守考场纪律，不服从考试工作人员安排与要求的视其为违纪。有下列行为之一的，应当认定为违纪：
1.携带规定以外的物品进入考场或者未放在指定位置的；
2.考试开始信号发出前答题或考试结束信号发出后继续作答的；
3.在考试过程中旁窃、交头接耳、互打暗号、传递纸条等；
考场违纪的留学生该次课程考核成绩以0分记不得参加正常补考和重修。经教育表现较好，本人申请，国际交流学院批准，在结业前对该课程给予一次考试机会，并将考试违纪、作弊的课程作以标记，记入学生成绩单。严重违反考试纪律者，该课程考核成绩记为无效，给予批评教育和相应的纪律处分，校际交流学生将通报派出学校。
四、中国汉语水平考试 （HSK）
中国汉语水平考试一共分为六级，从低到高为1级-6级，在留学生掌握一定知识后，可以根据自己的意愿填报申请表，有需要报名的同学需要到留学生教务办公室提出申请，在办公室允许的情况下进行网上或者现场报名。目前哈尔滨市的考点有：哈尔滨工程大学、黑龙江大学、哈尔滨工业大学等。
留学生在申请HSK（考试）前必须携带1寸或2寸照片（白底）、护照到留学生教务办公室填写考试申请单。
每年9月份要进入各相关学院进行专业学习的留学生必须通过中国汉语水平4级考试后，将成绩单复印件交到留学生教务办公室备案后，才能进入相关学院学习。
学习理学、工学、农学、经济学、法学、管理学、教育学等专业的留学生必须获得汉语4级证书（HSK4）；
学习文学、历史学、哲学等专业的留学生不得低于HSK6级。对汉语水平达不到专业学习要求的外国留学生，必须进行汉语补习，取得相关证书后，方可申请转入专业学习。
1.None-diploma Student Curriculum Provison
Chinese course has exercise, mid-term and final exam. The result will be based on percentage scale. Exercise accounts for 30%, mid-term for 20% and final for 50%. International courses and special courses will not have any mid-term exam, and the homework and practice will account for 30% and final exam will be 70%. International student who absent for any classes without any reason for more than 8 times, or does not attend to exam as instructed will be marked 0. Absence for more than 40 classes total within one semester will not be granted any completion certificate. Continues absence or leaving with reasons for more than 6 weeks will be asked to terminate the study.
2. Requirements
1. International student should follow all rules and regulations and be on time for classes. Being late, leaving early or being absent are not allowed.
2. Student who wish to ask for leave or absent for sickness or other matters, please fill applications. Ask for leaving within 2 days, please inform the teacher and international student office..
3. For an absence more than 2 days, student not only have to inform the teacher, but also fill out an additional application and any other paperwork if asked.
4. Absence due to illness must present with doctor's note. If the illness is server, you can apply for going back to your own country to stay and get better.
5. Any absence caused by certain issues cannot be more than 5 days, and anyone who did not follow all the rules or did not attend class after the date will be marked as absent (each day for 4 hours). Undergraduate and master students have to inform the international student office when ask for a leave, state all relevant matters, also inform all teachers in all departments and also fill out application.
6. Students must strictly obey the“NEFU Undergraduate Administrative Provision” or “NEFU Graduate Administrative Provision”, and discipline themselves according to the rules of the Office of Teaching Affairs, Teaching College or Graduate College.
3. Violation of Discipline
Student must follow all rules, anyone who does not corporate with the teacher or staff in an exam will be seen as violation of discipline. Any of the following act will be marked as violation of discipline:
1. bring anything other than what is allowed to an exam or did not leave such item at the designated area.
2. start the exam before the exam starts or did not finish when the exam is finished.
3. cheating during an exam.
With a mark of violation of discipline, the student will not only receive "0" for this course, but also will not have the chance for a make-up exam or relearn this course. If student shows good behavior, with the approve of the school of International Education and Exchange, the student can apply for a make-up exam for this course before completing study here. However the mark of discipline will be stay on record and will also be shown in the student transcript. Anyone who will violate the discipline in a very server matter will be marked not-valid for this course, and given the disciplinary action as well as verbal criticism by the department. Furthermore, It will be announced to the university where he/she is from.
4.HSK
HSK is divided into six levels, from low to high levels of 1-6, after International students grasp certain knowledge, you can fill in the application form according to your will. Students who want to apply for HSK should go to the Office of Teaching Affair. If the office condition permits,it needs to be applied online or on-site for registration.Currently examination sites in Harbin are: Harbin Engineering University, Heilongjiang University, Harbin Institute of Technology and so on.
International students applying for HSK must fill out application form first in Office of Teaching Affair with a passport size photo and passport.
Student who will go to study in relavant colleges each September must pass the HSK level 4 test. And they are required to hand in the copy of HSK transcript to Office of Teaching Affair for international students before hand.
The international students who learn science, engineering, agriculture, economics, law, management, education and other majors must have obtained the HSK4 cetificate；
For international students who study literature, history, philosophy and other majors,their language level shall not be less than HSK 6. For those who can not arrive the required Chinese language level, they have to have extra tutoring of Chinese After getting the relevant certificates, they can be permitted to study the applied major.
